Indications

Suprax is taken as the treatment of bacterial infections. It is effective against many bacteria, including both Gram-positive as well as Gram-negative strains.

It is used as a reliable treatment of certain bacterial infections such as gonorrhea, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, and urinary tract infections.

Cefixime generic from Canadian Pharmacy Drug is a very effective antibiotic and is usually the first choice for treating bacterial infections. However, it is important to remember that antibiotics, such as cefixime, are only effective against bacteria and not viruses. Therefore, it will not work against infections such as the cold or flu.

Proper Use of Cefixime

It is important to take Cefixime in accordance with how the doctor prescribed it. This also means that you should finish taking all of it even if you feel much better. If you do not finish the medication, the infection could come back and be more difficult to treat. Here are some tips on the use of this medication:

  • Take cefixime oral at regular intervals.
  • Cefixime oral can be taken with or without food.
  • Shake the suspension prior to taking it.
  • Measure the suspension using a special spoon or cup.
  • Do not use a regular household spoon because it will not give you the correct dose.
  • Finish all of the medication, even if you start to feel better.

If you have any questions, talk to your physician or pharmacist.
